Agents are characters in Valorant that have special abilities and different roles. As of patch 8.07, there are 24 agents in Valorant with 4 different roles. These agents include Brimstone, Phoenix, Sage, Sova, Viper, Cypher, Reyna, Killjoy, Breach, Omen, Jett, Raze, Skye, Yoru, Astra, Kay/O, Chamber, Neon, Fade, Harbor, Gekko, Deadlock, Iso, and Clove. The best agents from each role in my opinion are as follows.
Initiators challenge angles by setting up their team to enter contested ground and push defenders away.
Defensive experts who can lock down areas and watch flanks, both on attacker and defender rounds.
Duelists are self-sufficient fraggers who their team expects to get high frags and seek out engagements first.
Controllers are experts in slicing up dangerous territory to set their team up for success.
